About

Born and raised in Brazil, the tropical landscape left an indelible mark on the work of Paula Cademartori, which endures to this day.

Paula is one the most talented and eclectic creatives in the business, bringing an explosion of joy and good vibes to her accessories.

With a background in industrial design, the Italian-Brazilian designer has built up a colourful universe from a personal stylistic vision, influenced by her love of art, flora and architecture.

In 2005 following a degree in Industrial Design a young Paula moved to Milan where she was awarded a Magna cum Laude for a “Master in Fashion Accessories” at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni. The brilliant academic career landed her a position at Versace, where she cut her teeth for a few years expanding her skills.

In 2009 she was selected for the Vogue Talents project, as one of the top emerging designers and in 2011 she launched her eponymous handbags line.

By participating in a Vogue Italia competition “Who Is On Next”, Paula’s audience grew and her flamboyant Made in Italy accessories soon became a global street style hit, sported by the likes of Anna Dello Russo and Miroslava Duma, amongst many other industry influencers.

Soon after, the “Business of Fashion” appointed Paula as one of the 500 people shaping the fashion industry in 2016, a position that she still holds today.

Not only a fashion designer, Paula has showcased her eclecticism by collaborating with renowned brands such as Nike, Kartell, Atelier Biagetti and Bitossi.

Most recently she has launched her first sustainable project with Supernovas by designing “The Volta” collection, a playful tableware and stationery line made entirely of plastic waste which is 100% recycled, and 100% recyclable.

After three years of strategic partnership with OTB Group, in 2020 Paula has taken back full control of the brand, her vision and aesthetic are shaping the new shoe collection and homeware collaborations to complement the colourful “Universe of Paula”.
